Choosing from Altar & Home
An altar can be a tray, shelf or small corner that gives a repeated practice a stable place. This collection brings together cloths, bowls, storage bags, incense holders, statues and other pieces that help organize that space. Begin with the surface and the room you actually have. Check dimensions before ordering, leave open working space, and choose objects that are stable enough for their intended use. An altar does not need to be permanent, expensive or crowded to be meaningful.
Plan for heat, smoke, water, pets, children, direct sun and anything that can be knocked over. Keep dried plants and fabric away from flame. Use a fireproof catch bowl for ash, ventilate smoke, and never leave candles, charcoal or incense unattended. Label plant material and do not burn an unknown herb. Seasonal materials should be lawful, non-invasive and safe for wildlife. When smoke or flame is unsuitable, a written note, a found object, flowers, sound or an unlit candle can mark the same moment.
Available pieces usually leave our supplier in 1 to 2 business days after stock confirmation, while carrier delivery time varies by destination. Prices are in CAD. Read the altar and herb-bundle guides below for a modest set-up you can maintain safely.
